The electro-dark-band Rush II was founded in April 2003. Nowadays, they are four: creative minds of former electro bands from the Harz.

They describe their music as "dark melancholical pop" - somewhere between catchy synthiepop and heavy darkwave. They put warmth in clear synthesised music by surrounding it with deep melodies. The dark lyrics, part English, part German, show a certain melancholy and cynicism and inspire to reflect.

In spring 2004 the third album called Dark velvet mirror was produced.
